Warranty Info The complete engines sold by Indiana Tiny Gas Engines are warrantied for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase. Engines sent in by customers for conversion are warrantied for 30 days. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from misuse wether intentional or not is not covered. Damage to finish is not covered. THESE ENGINES ARE NOT TOYS! (well, yeah, I guess they are but you know what I mean) THEY ARE DANGEROUS! Buyer also assumes any and all responsibility for any damage or injury that may incurr during operation. By placing a bid on Ebay or purchasing directly buyer acknowledges that the seller, Indiana Tiny Gas Engines assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury that may incurr during use.
If you use anything more than a standard 12v starter you may damage the crank support bearings causing them to fail and to possibly seize. If you plane is in the air and this happens you know what the end result would be. Ugly to say the least. Damage to the engine's inner or outer support bearing from using too much starter is not covered by the warranty. Damage to the cylinder wall or piston from using too little 2 cycle oil is definitely not covered by this warranty!
Warranty is also void if the cylinder is removed from the block or any sealed surfaces are taken apart. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost to ITGE, but we will pay for return shipping during the warranty period.
